Denver's 7 day forecast is looking very springy this week! As it should, being this is the first official week where we say goodbye to winter and hello to spring! While it'll be mostly warm all week with moderate sun, there may be a day or two minimal sun and rain. Here's 7 Denver date ideas for the beginning of spring:
1. Dim Sum and Oolong Afternoon March 25 - 26
Check out the Dushanbe Tea House in Boulder. Enjoy a quiet afternoon of tea and crumpets with an Asian twist. For $25 per person enjoy sips of oolong tea and small plate dim sum.
2. Spring Tea and Cat Girls at a Burlesque Show
On Tuesday, March 21st, experience tea time at The Oriental Theater and stay for the Garden Gala Cat Girl Manor Purrlesque show. Watch the kittens perform acrobatic moves on the stage in honor of the spring solstice. There is even an after party with dancing and cocktails. And they will also pick one lucky kitten from the audience with an exciting chance to be apart of the Chateau Cat Girl manor. Tickets range from $25-40 and the show starts at 7 p.m.
3. Yoga, Fitness, Craft Beer and the 80s on a Friday Night
On March 24th at 6:00 p.m. join Bend Beer Boutique and Beats courtesy of Behind The Scenes In Denver for a cool combination of yoga, fitness classes, DJ music, vendors, and 80s nostalgia at Stanley Marketplace. Admission is $15 and includes a free craft beer (lots of craft beer available all night) and access to any of the classes available. 80s attire encouraged!
4. Festival De Mole Y Mezcal at Centro Mexican Kitchen (Boulder)
Enjoy the beginning of spring with a trip to Mexico...or the Boulder version of Mexico anyways. Try the chocolate smothered duck mole and for $12 you can add 3 different mezcals to pair with the meal.
5. The Sushi Series - Zengo
In case you missed it, we love Zengo's Sushi Rolling Class so much we gave away 2 tickets last week for this Thursday's class at 6:30 pm. For $65 you can learn to roll sushi from their sushi master, try different sake pairings and afterwards eat the sushi you made plus some extras from their raw bar. A seriously awesome date night for a seriously reasonable price. For more info, visit here.
