Farm House At Breckenridge Brewery
2990 Brewery Ln., Littleton
Things We Loved:
The Atmosphere. It's invokes that same relaxation you get when you get out in nature camping with the huge open space out back. Picnic tables, lawn games, Adirondack chairs, and firepits all overlooking the beautiful Colorado Rockies.
- The Beer. We all know Breckenridge Brewery brews some treats so I knew it wouldn't disappoint. Our server knew exactly what to recommend and we built some flights that were fitting of each person's likes.
- The Food. Green chili grits?! Yes please, and I don't even like grits! The highlights definitely included the grits, the meatloaf and the charcuterie plate. The food has a very farm to table feel - comfort food to the max.
- Our Server. She was awesome. Friendly without trying too hard, great recommendations, and made us feel welcomed and relaxed.
Things We Didn't
- The Host Stand. To be brutally honest, the experience was almost ruined. Our first impression was not good. The hostesses were indifferent at best. We were clearly an inconvenience when we requested two outdoor tables be put together. Our request was met with an eye roll and a lecture. Then when I said no problem, just leave them as two separate tables, I was asked to step aside while they asked the server if that was ok. Ten minutes later and no one leaving to ask anyone anything, I was approached by a different hostess who, luckily, seated us immediately as we were about to leave which would've been a major bummer as the rest of the night was great.
Overall, I can't wait to come back. This was a great family date. My kids were able to run around playing lawn games and making friends instead of being glued to their seats waiting for dinner to arrive. They even ran around with their ice cream while the parents relaxed in the lawn with cocktails. My kids were exhausted and we were all relaxed and happy by the time we left. Looking forward to our next visit!
