Welcome to May! My fingers are crossed that this weekend marked our last snow and it's finally time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. Here are our picks for this week May 1 through May 7th.
1. Naughty Bingo - Thursday
This Thursday at 9 pm check out this naughty version of one of our greatest pastimes. Providence Tavern is hosting in Edgewater and the best part....this gem of an activity is free!
2. A Taste of Olde Town Arvada - Tuesday
For $20 per person you can check out some of the tastiest stops Arvada has to offer including HomeGrown Tap & Dough, Fuzzy's, The Schoolhouse..the list goes on and on. The money raised will go to the benefit of the Arvada Community Food Bank so it's a double win. Check here for tickets.
3. Street Food Day To Celebrate Cince De Mayo - Friday
Cook Street Cooking School is hosting their Mexican street food series cooking class. They'll also be featuring tequila and some local beers to pair with 4 courses of some killer Mexican classics. $100 per person, check here for more info.
4. Cocktail Class At The Crimson Room - Tuesday
Join Lodo's favorite jazz club for this monthly class. At 6:30 pm for $36 per person you can partake in this month's class featuring tequila! Check here for details to sign up!
5. Walleye Insanity Tournament - Saturday
Calling all outdoorsy couples! This is Colorado's highest paying fishing tournament and a really fun and unique way to spend some time together not to mention a great way to soak in that 80 degree weather that's coming. It starts at 5 pm and goes until midnight at Littleton's Chatfield State Park. Check here for more info.
6. Cocktails & Cacti - Friday
The Salt & Grinder restaurant and The Perfect Petal are teaming up to host a cacti planting and cocktail sipping fiesta at 5:30 pm. Plant 4 separate succulents, sip a margarita and indulge in some delicious Salt & Grinder snacks (sold separately) for $65 per person. Ticket info here.
